Many champion cows and bulls have been exported to establish new herds in several countries. The two oldest established herds in England are the Terling and the Lavenham herd, numbering over 1500 head at Lord Ralleigh's farms in Essex. These herds - attested and tuberculin tested - have contained many champions, winning first prizes at dairy shows al over the country.
