Located right across the street from St. Louis Cathedral and steps away from the Mississippi River, this square and its central monument, has become one of the most popular places for tourists to take a selfie in New Orleans. In addition to providing an excellent photo opportunity, this location is also one of the most popular parks in the city.
The Cathedral-Basilica of Saint Louis, King of France, also called St. Louis Cathedral, is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans and is the oldest cathedral in continuous use in what would become the United States.
